Come along to brainstorm and chat in a safe and supportive group, or meet 1-1 to share your experiences - it's up to you how we connect. We will catch up with food/kai, and you'll get a gift voucher to say thanks. We'll meet you for who you are, where you are at, and you will be treated with dignity and respect. Together, let's make Thrive even better for the people who come next.

Join our ADL Youth Advisory Group to make friends, get skills in mental health advocacy, and give advice to ADL on the things that matter to you. Be a part of shaping ADL services in our group for youth, run by youth, who all share experiences of facing tough times.

The only requirement to join this group is that you use, or have used, ADL services. This qualifies you 100%. Regardless of what you think you can contribute; we want to hear it. If getting involved is difficult, let us know in your application, so we can chat about how we can best support you.

ADL particularly welcomes young people from our longer-term services (journeys, community support work, Te Ara Hou) and warmly invite applications from Rangatahi Māori and Pasifika.

What is your pathway to wellbeing?

At ADL, young people work hard to face the things that get in the way.

We want to share some of these courageous stories.

ADL will care for and respect what you say, so that you feel in charge.
